The tide pulls you toward the island in the center of all the others. Once you make it to the shore, you look around and head up the beach to where the sand meets the flora. Immediately in front of you is a vast plain, where the wind floats rustles through the tall grass and a number of mares stand in wait for their Prince Charming -- or Not So Charming -- to find them, whoever that stallion may be.

Accepted mares will post here first to be claimed. If she does not wish to be claimed immediately, she may post in the meeting grounds, but nowhere else.

To the north of the claiming grounds lies what might be called a wasteland. The ground grows dry and the soil becomes almost red. There is little to no food here. The summers are harsh and the winters are bitter. The terrain is rocky and unforgiving. Various plateaus crop up from the ground every so often. What could this be but the land nobody wants, the land of the homeless bachelors?

Bachelor stallions are allowed to keep up to three mares with him while wandering this territory. But beware! Without a homeland, it can be difficult to hold onto your girls.

Directly beside the claiming grounds, hidden in a grove of willow trees, lies a clearing of scented flowers. Sometimes, fireflies appear at night and dance through the fronds of the foliage. It seems almost like a magic place, and to some, it is. This is where life is created - a blessing to most.

This is where the stallion and the mare will post their stats after they breed so that the admins can determine foal stats when the baby is born. Remember, both breeding and foaling are done in the terrain.

Upon the northern tip of the island, just past the badlands, there is a depression in the rough, merciless landscape. At the bottom, there is an expansive, flat circle of land. It is here that claims are made with spilt blood and challenges are held for territory, mares, and rank.

All challenges will be role-played out here, but remember to first post the challenge in the opposing party's territory! The challenged will have five days to respond. Lumos or Vogue will judge.

West of the bachelor lands lies a territory shrouded in darkness. A few lone, skeleton trees stand here. The grass is withered and dead throughout the expanse of the lands, for those who dwell here do not need it. This is the land of the dead, where the spirits of those who have passed on may return to converse with those still living. But beware! Dwelling in the spirit world too long may drain your own soul and make you one of them.

Just east of the claiming grounds lies a lush valley where all may gather together. This neutral area experiences very mild weather, and the food source is always plentiful. Foals may play safely here under the watch of their mothers, and equines from any territory may meet peacefully, as no fighting is allowed here.

Mares must only be claimed in the claiming grounds. This is a territory for neutral interaction only.
